January 3rd: "Seven Things Announcement"

#1: I wanted to start off with saying if are online and see a player named “BigBoiJohn9671” join or leave the game, please let me know as soon as you can on Discord or anywhere else. This player is not in trouble, and you are not ratting him out. I would just like to know if he attempts to join the game.

#2: I wanted to also bring up the point where I am now much more formal in the way that I talk both on Discord and on Minecraft. This is for many reasons, but I am also trying to be more professional than I was last year, and especially the year before that.

#3: Do you not have Discord and therefore are not able to see the updates and announcements? Do you have Discord and sometimes do not have access to Discord and still are curious on updates? Well, I now have the solution for you! Just like on season one, the website will now be of great importance. This quality of life improvement for non-Discord-ers will be very impactful. I’m guessing. Just go onto the “Changelog” section of our website (chaossmp.org) and you will see announcements just like the ones I put on the Discord server!

#4: I just wanted to let you all know, that unlike last season, the Rank Shop will be coming a lot sooner in the season, probably before the end of January! This Rank Shop will have different ranks than in season one and two! Stay tuned for more information coming soon!

#5. There is the first update coming this week! This update will be a small update, but it will still be the first one! Stay tuned for more information. 

#6. I would like to let you all know that I have a surprise that you all will like! This surprise is not a one time thing either. This is a sort of event that will occur every Friday (except for ones that I cannot be on for due to something in real life) from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM (6-7) CST. You can join the realm whenever you are wanting to do this, but the first time this will occur is this upcoming Friday. Stay tuned for more information soon. I know you all will love it.

#7. And last but not least thank you all. Thank you all for a great starting three days of season three. I can’t believe how fast the time goes, but thank you all for being there and I hope we can continue to make this a great season. I love that you all continue to want to play, and I hope you will continue to want to play all season. Thank you all so very much for all of your support!!

January 9th: ""Friday Night Gambling" Continuation Announcement"

Hello everyone once again. 

In continuation of this, here is third and final word to complete the name!

As mentioned before, this event type of thing will happen every Friday from 6:00 PM CST to 7:00 PM CST, except for the ones that I cannot make it to.

Febuary 11th: "World Hippo Day Build Challenge Announcement"

World Hippo Day, observed every February 15th, honors one of the planet’s most iconic and fascinating animals — the hippopotamus.

Event Details

From right now until the end of World Hippo Day, your mission is simple:

Build anything Hippo‑themed. Big, small, cute, cursed — if it’s a Hippo, it counts.

Judging & Prizes

Judging runs from February 15th (end of day) to February 22nd (end of day)

This is an individual event — one builder per entry

Not confident in your building skills? No problem. We’re awarding 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes, so everyone has a shot

February 16th: "World Hippo Day Build Challenge Judging Announcement"

Did you make a hippo-themed build for the World Hippo Day Build Challenge?

If so, you probably want to submit it!

There is just a few steps to do so.

1. Join Chaos SMP Three sometime before the end of the day on the 22nd and /msg or just tell Hippo3333 in chat that you have made a build. 

2. After you complete step one, go to your build so Hippo can teleport to you. 

That’s pretty much all! I will get back to all of you with the results at the end of the day of the 22nd. 

Remember, if you did not finish your build, you still cannot. You will be disqualified from the competition. If I figure out you did not obey this.

Make sure to show off your builds to me soon!

February 22nd: "Combat Update V1.0 Announcement"

Combat Update V1.0

The update is here! This update will add many things.

Part One

With the Combat Update, five new variations of weapons will be added with the base material levels. 

Part Two

Another new edition is, four levels of throwing stars will enhance ranged combat.

Part Three

First new armor and tool set of season three has been added! Full resin armor and tools will add to the base game armor and tool set. 

Part Four

A new mix of totems have been added to the game. Unlike the Totem of Undying, these new totems do not require you to die to trigger their ability each one can help you in a specific situation. 

Part Five

The final part of this update includes a useful Armor HUD right next to your hot bar, so you can easily view the durability of your armor and offhand slot. **— This part of the update will not be happening. It is causing too many glitches with the side bar.**

There is a lot that I excluded in this announcement, so please join soon to discover the new update and the new features that you will now be playing with.

February 22nd: "Totem-Music Announcement"

The new Totem Add-on unfortunately was causing way too much lag. Unfortunately, I cannot find a replacement for this add-on.

As an apology gift, I will be adding a new add-on.

This add-on is more of just a fun addition to the game, adding 16 new music discs to the game!
